As the saying goes, you don’t know what you don’t know, and dementia diseases happen to us without manuals or blueprints. Whether you are living with AD/dementia or caring for someone who is, education is key to preventing crises and living well.
The AFSC provides a full roster of educational opportunities including The Savvy Caregiver, a 12-hour training specifically for family caregivers that is offered on a rolling basis throughout the year.
We also offer conferences, professional trainings, and seminars and webinars ranging in subjects from male caregiving to cognitive health to hospice care.
